Joyful Experiences help you embrace Healthy Habits

Welcome to our Healing Resort.
We are delighted to have you here and thank you for your interest.

As a music therapist, the dream of opening a healing resort has long lived in my heart. Back in 1991, while working as a music therapist at Metro State Hospital in Southern California, I envisioned building a “healing community.” Many psychiatric patients seemed to adapt well within the hospital setting but tragically struggled once released into society. That experience sparked in me the idea of a community where the vulnerable and the slightly less vulnerable could support one another and live together in shared happiness.

Later, my vision expanded—I began dreaming of a healing resort for leaders across various sectors of Korean society. I believed that if those in positions of influence could experience "healthy adaptation," they would help cultivate healthier workplace cultures. And with that, I believed Korean society itself could transform.

I went on to earn my degree at the University of Kansas and returned to Korea to establish the country’s first graduate program in music therapy at Sookmyung Women’s University. I served as a professor for 22 years and 6 months, dedicating myself to rooting music therapy education firmly in Korea. And yet, the dream of creating a healing resort never left me.

So in February 2019, I chose to take early retirement—four years ahead of schedule—to fully focus on bringing this dream to life. I wanted to explore healing practices and legends from around the world, and reinterpret them through the lens of cutting-edge modern technology.

Although I initially planned to begin traveling right after retiring, I was invited to help launch a new music therapy department at Seoul Cyber University, which delayed my plans by a year. Then came the COVID-19 pandemic, which confined me for two years. During that time, however, I was able to complete and publish a book I had long envisioned: Music in the Bible and Music Therapy.

Despite ongoing travel restrictions, I resumed my journey in February 2022 by attending a two-week sound healing workshop in Spain and visiting Malta’s Hal-Saflieni Hypogeum, continuing my quest to discover ancient healing traditions and sacred spaces.

These travels have provided me with profound insights. Every culture expresses its way of life through its cities, sounds, and colors—each with its own unique harmony. What unites them all, however, is the ultimate human pursuit: health and happiness, both individually and collectively.

Now, I am beginning the work of transforming these insights into a healing resort—an innovative and immersive sanctuary for renewal. I am seeking partners and investors who resonate with this vision. If you are someone who believes in personal transformation and the possibility of a better world, I warmly invite you to join me on this journey.
